High-school upperclassmen can learn about creative careers in summer program

The Creative Circus in Atlanta is now accepting applications to its 2019 Summer at the Circus program, which it calls “an in-depth and specialized crash course in advertising creativity.”

Summer at the Circus is an eight-week program that exposes students to the fundamentals of art direction, graphic design, creative strategy, typography, photography, and more.

Summer at the Circus is a joint program between The Creative Circus, a portfolio school that prepares students for careers in marketing communications, and the University of Georgia. It’s open to students who will be 17 or older this summer.

The program fee is $2,950; students may pay an additional fee if they want to earn college credit for their work.

Application deadline for students who want to earn college credit is January 18, 2019. Deadline for the non-credit option is April 30.
