Atlanta Science Festival returns next month
The Atlanta Science Festival returns March 9-24, 2018, with dozens of activities scheduled over a two-week run. They’ve got programs about robots, drones, ecology, geology, food science, botany, zoology . . . more than I can list here.
The events list on the festival web site tells you everything, including recommended ages for the various programs. Spaces in some programs are limited, so browse the list and reserve your spaces well in advance.
As in the past, the festival will culminate with the Exploration Expo, a huge, free event on Saturday, March 24. The expo is moving to Piedmont Park this year. Dozens of companies and schools will host hands-on activities geared toward kids and families.
The festival, which began in 2014, is a joint effort among Emory University, Georgia Tech, and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
