Middle-school math festival at Oglethorpe University

Middle-schoolers who love math are invited to a middle-school math festival at Oglethorpe University on March 17, 2018.

The Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival challenges students with puzzles and games that require math concepts and creative thinking. The festivals, which are held at locations around the country, aim to let students explore the fascinating world of mathematics.

(I’ve been to one of these festivals, and can attest that it’s great mental exercise, yet low pressure and fun. The puzzles aren’t about math computation, but about using math and logic to solve problems.)

The event is free; however, advance registration is required.
