Math festival on April 10 at Emory University
Emory University will host a Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival for students in kindergarten through 12th grade on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Visitors can come and go at any time during the event.
The festival challenges students with puzzles and games that require math concepts and creative thinking. The goal of the event is to let students explore the fascinating world of mathematics beyond what they experience in school.
(I’ve been to one of these festivals, and can attest that it’s great mental exercise, yet low pressure and fun. The puzzles aren’t about math computation, but about using math and logic to solve problems.)
The event is free; however, advance registration is required.

Oh man. My third grader taking the milestones in DeKalb that day.
This doesn’t start until 5:30 p.m.
