Summer camps at University of West Georgia
The University of West Georgia is offering a selection of summer day camps for 2018, for students in kindergarten through high school.
Camps to choose from are:
Wolves Exploration Camp, for rising kindergartners through 2nd graders, six one-week sessions to choose from in topics including dinosaurs, art, oceans, and space.
Camp Write On, for rising 3rd-8th graders, a one-week camp with exposure to narrative writing, personal journals, literary responses, and more.
American Sign Language camp, a three-day, basic signing camp for kids ages 6 to 12. Choose from a Newnan campus session and a Carrollton campus session.
The Chemistry of Almost Everything 1, for rising 8th, 9th, and 10th graders who have not previously taken chemistry. This four-day camp introduces the chemistry of everyday items.
The Chemistry of Almost Everything 2, open to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders, as well as rising college freshmen, who have previously taken a chemistry class. This four-day camp consists of experiments designed to refresh students’ knowledge of core chemistry concepts.
