WonderRoot camp combines art and social change

Local arts organization WonderRoot will offer summer art camp for ages 7 to 17 at its southeast Atlanta arts center.

Camp for kids ages 7 to 12 will be held June 25-29; ages 12 to 17 will meet June 18-23. Campers can register for the whole week, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily, or can drop in on a daily basis.

Art techniques and topics will include graphic design, zines, screen printing, yarn bombing, and public art.

WonderRoot is a non-profit arts group whose mission is to unite artists in using their art to spur social change.
